Dhurandhar starring Ranveer Singh, Sara Arjun, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal became a huge blockbuster after a very luckwarm opening day. With each show on the first day, talk improved and film started to perform better on Saturday and Sunday. Interestingly, even on weekdays, it kept attracting good numbers.

Mainly, the edits regarding Akshaye Khanna's Rahman Dakait character have been spread like wildfire all over the social media. While Ranveer Singh sorted the headlining craze prior to release, AK, drove the social media storm that spread word of mouth even fiercely.

Every big star from Bollywood and even Allu Arjun has praised the film. With such great reception, the movie is going strong with each day at the box office.

Now, the film is collecting above Rs.20 crores everyday and ended the first week with Rs.215 crores Nett gross collection. The film has ended Ranveer's flop streak and became another blockbuster for Aditya Dhar, after URI: Surgical Strikes as a film. After the second part release, he might surely become a force to reckon with.

Dhurandhar's second weekend is expected to be huge and with Christmas holidays lined up, the box office collections of the film are expected to end at all-time high for Ranveer Singh, if Avatar 3 doesn't create a huge storm at the box office.
